I went ahead and started this website a little while ago in anticipation of some of the changes happening here in our little hamlet, or village, of Shingletown, Pa.
Last year, we heard from neighbor Bob Igo about talk being tossed around the township about designating Shingletown under the new code designation of Village, rather than just being an unincorporated residential neighborhood.
This is pretty interesting, and it’s my thought that the more engaged we the residents, denizens of Shingletown are with this process moving forward, the
more likely this will work in favor of those of us who live here.
Hence, this website.

Though specifically, this website is of, by, and for the people of Shingletown.
Much of the content of this website will only be available to subscribers of this website.

And, of course, by extension, those who serve as direct family/guardians of any of the above.
